Activists with contacts in the political and religious community are seeking to use these connections to highlight the need for change. These same people are also acting to support efforts to protect individuals as happened with Amin and Abrahim.
Conjoined to this activity CAYR is adopting a policy of trying to open a dialogue with senior politicians of all parties in an attempt to gain support for a change in policy to end the attacks on these vulnerable children and young people.
